The Well

Denton Bible Church
The Well is the evening service of Denton Bible Church. Established in 2008, this service was birthed to further the mission of our church in “equipping the saints for the work of the ministry” (Eph. 4), namely among a new generation of families, singles, and collegians in our community.
What’s in a Name?
In John chapter 4, we see an interesting story of a woman who encounters Jesus at a local drinking well. Seized by the truth of Christ’s words, her life is changed and she departs from the well in order to go share the truth that she has found with the people around her. Our desire is that this service would be your well; a place where we (the most unlikely of people) can come encounter the truth of Christ, and then take that transforming truth back into the community around us.
What to Expect
- Length of Service? About an hour and a half
- Dress? Come as you are
- Preaching? Expositional (book by book of the Bible)
- Music? Ranges from pop contemporary to hymns
- Children’s Ministry? Absolutely! (ages 4mo - 10yrs)
